BTS member Jin is once again showing why he’s called the “sold-out king.” The pajamas he wore recently sold out in no time!
On September 20 (KST), Jin, as a global ambassador for Gucci, attended the ‘Gucci 2025 Spring-Summer Women’s Fashion Show‘ in Milan, Italy.
In just 24 hours after his appearance, Jin was mentioned over 4 million times online, making him the most talked-about celebrity at ‘Milan Fashion Week.’ Fans worldwide praised him as the “face of Gucci” and a true “fashion icon.”
On September 21, Jin went live on Weverse from his hotel in Milan. He woke up at 6 a.m. just to match the schedule of his fans. Despite being sleepy, Jin‘s love for his fans really stood out. During the live, he talked about his upcoming solo album, his show “Run Jin,” and shared how much he appreciates his fans. He even played a cute game with them, making fans smile.
As Gucci‘s ambassador, Jin also shared a funny story: “I gave Gucci a BigHit hat and asked, ‘Can you make a hat like this?’ They took it and said, ‘Of course, we can.’” Fans loved hearing that Gucci is working on a custom hat for Jin.
The pajamas Jin wore during the live were from the BTS X DM4 Pajama Set by Line Friends. Once fans saw photos of him in the pajamas, they sold out right away, proving once again that Jin’s “sold-out king” title is well-deserved.
Back in June, after he finished his military service, Jin wore an EMIS hat in a BTS group photo, and it sold out within minutes. His CHANCECHANCE t-shirt also sold out, showing just how much influence he has.
Jin‘s “sold-out king” status has been proven time and time again. Whether it’s fashion, food, or even drinks, things he endorses or wears disappear quickly from shelves. Even while he was in the military, the content he prepared for fans led to quick sell-outs. For example, the hand fan he used at Suga‘s concert sold out fast!
In the food industry, Jin’s endorsement of Ottogi Jin Ramen helped increase ramen exports after the success of the movie Parasite at the 2020 Academy Awards. Ottogi reported record sales last year, thanks to products like ramen and ready meals.
Jin‘s association with luxury brands like Gucci and Fred has also caused jewelry items to sell out. Pieces he wore, like a necklace, bracelet, and earrings, led to the brands’ websites crashing due to high demand. Fans clearly love everything Jin touches.
Recently, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute shared that Jin ranked first in the September boy group member brand reputation ranking. This marks the third time he’s topped the rankings since his discharge, showing that Jin truly is the “king” in many ways.
