Actress Cheon Woo Hee recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Elle magazine after gracing a photoshoot where the studio was filled with luxurious scents.
Reflecting on the shoot, she shared, “Surrounded by these fragrances, it made it much easier for me to get into the mood.” The actress seemed fully immersed in the calming atmosphere, making for a stunning visual experience.
During the interview, Cheon Woo Hee revealed a personal memory tied to scent. When asked if any particular fragrance holds significance for her, she reminisced, "The scent of the body lotion my mother used when I was young sticks with me. I loved that scent so much that I used to press my nose against my mom's skin and smell it for a long time." It's clear that these memories left a lasting impression on the star.
Known for her standout roles in I'm Not a Hero, But It's Okay and The Eight Show, Cheon Woo Hee opened up about her acting process.
She shared, "I start from within myself. While looking at references can help, I find it more effective to combine the traits, realities, and imagination I’ve accumulated through observation to create a new character. That method suits me better."
The actress also highlighted how important it is for her to hold onto her curiosity, saying, "If I lose even a bit of my curiosity about the world, my passion and innocence will naturally fade away as well."
Looking ahead to the second half of the year, fans can get excited as she’s already started filming her new drama My Youth.
Cheon Woo Hee teased her evolving dynamic with co-star Song Joong Ki, saying, "I'm slowly getting closer to the set and my co-star, Song Joong Ki."
She also shared an intriguing note about her approach to the role: "I've written in my script '2024 and 2025 versions of me.' I want to fully embrace this time that will capture a part of me, while also enjoying life to the fullest."
