BTS V’s Song ‘FRI(END)S’ Featured by UK Magazine as a Must-Listen for Gen Z

BTS V is once again proving his global influence, with his song FRI(END)S being highlighted by a popular UK magazine.

Trill Mag, a magazine loved by the MZ generation, recommended V‘s track in their article titled “10 Songs to Help You Get Over a Situationship.”

In the article, Trill Mag said, “One of the best ways to deal with a complicated relationship is by listening to songs that truly speak to your feelings.” Among the 10 tracks listed, FRI(END)S stood out alongside songs from big artists like Ariana Grande, SZA, and Lana Del Rey.

Talking about FRI(END)S, the magazine shared, “The lyric ‘Friends don’t say words that make friends feel like more than just friends’ really captures the feeling of being in between friendship and love.” They added, “This ‘situationship’ can be just like unrequited love. It messes with your heart, giving you hope that the other person feels the same. V’s soothing voice in FRI(END)S will hit you right in the emotions.”

V‘s song has clearly connected with fans in the UK, especially the younger generation. FRI(END)S debuted at No. 13 on the UK Official Singles Chart and stayed on the chart for two weeks.

It also reached No. 3 on the UK’s Official Big Top 40 and stayed there for five weeks, setting a new record for a K-pop artist.

V continues to show why he’s so loved worldwide with his heartfelt music.
