BTS‘s Jungkook continues to make history with his solo single Seven. As of September 20, Seven has surpassed an incredible 1.9 billion streams on Spotify, just 430 days after its release in July last year. This makes Jungkook the fastest Asian artist to ever reach this milestone.
With 1,900,168,419 streams, Seven also ranks as the fourth-fastest song globally to hit 1.9 billion streams among both solo and group tracks.
Jungkook‘s Seven has been breaking records since its release. It was the fastest song in Spotify history to reach 100 million, 900 million, 1 billion, and 1.1 billion streams.
It was also the first song by an Asian artist to hold the No. 1 spot on Spotify’s “Daily Top Songs Global” chart for 71 days.
The song also stayed on top of the “Weekly Top Songs Global” chart for 9 weeks, making it the longest-running No. 1 song by a male artist in 2023.
Even more than a year after its release, Seven is still going strong, staying on the “Weekly Top Songs Global” chart for 61 consecutive weeks.
