  • Kim Soo Hyun’s agency is done playing nice—hits back with another lawsuit against controversial YouTube channel

Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, has officially filed another lawsuit against the controversial YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute—this time for criminal intimidation.

On March 24, Gold Medalist released a statement saying, “As Kim Soo Hyun’s management agency, we have officially filed an additional lawsuit against ‘Gaseyeon’ operator Kim Se Ui for criminal intimidation under the Penal Code.”

This isn’t the first legal action. On March 20, the agency had already sued Gaseyeon for violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes after the channel leaked private photos of Kim Soo Hyun.

But despite the lawsuit, Gaseyeon didn’t stop. The agency explained, “On March 21, just a day after our initial lawsuit, ‘Gaseyeon’ aired the same leaked photos again during a live broadcast. Such actions not only violate the law again but also show a blatant disregard for investigative authorities.”

What’s even more shocking is that Gaseyeon allegedly tried to blackmail Kim Soo Hyun’s agency. Gold Medalist revealed, “During their live broadcasts on March 21 and 22, ‘Gaseyeon’ mentioned Kim Soo Hyun’s Disney+ drama Knock-Off. They threatened that if Disney+ does not cancel the drama’s release, they would leak a video of Kim Soo Hyun.”

The agency also shut down false claims made by Gaseyeon, saying, “They repeatedly brought up the ‘Nth Room’ case, suggesting that Kim Soo Hyun was involved in a similar crime and that there is a related video. This is completely false. No such video exists.”

Stressing the seriousness of the situation, Gold Medalist firmly stated, “These actions by ‘Gaseyeon’ are serious criminal offenses that cannot be ignored. That is why we have taken immediate legal action with an additional lawsuit.”

Fans are now rallying behind Kim Soo Hyun, demanding stricter measures against channels that spread false rumors and threats.
