BTS member J-Hope, who is currently serving in the military, gave fans a heartfelt message as Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) approaches.
On September 17, J-Hope took to Weverse to share his feelings about having just one month left in the military. He wrote, "One month left, exactly 30 days! At first, time felt so slow, but now I’ve gotten used to it, and I’m feeling a bit emotional. I’ve been packing my things and giving away items I used to my juniors. Seeing my empty locker just deepens my feelings even more."
Reflecting on his time in the military, J-Hope added, "Looking back, it wasn’t a big deal, but I remember being so nervous and tense back then. Even the sound of the locker opening used to stress me out. Now, seeing the new recruits arrive, I feel a sense of camaraderie and see myself in them. It’s actually kind of cute."
J-Hope also shared, "Right now, I’m the typical senior soldier who’s about to be discharged. I’m writing this while lying on my bed, haha. The holiday is great! I get to rest well! I rambled a bit, but I just wanted to send my Chuseok greetings. And funny enough, today marks exactly 30 days until I’m discharged."
He ended his message with, "I hope autumn comes soon. I’ll see you all next month on this day. Until then, take good care of your health."
J-Hope, who enlisted in April last year, is currently serving as an instructor at a recruit training battalion. He is set to be discharged on October 17. Fans are already eagerly awaiting his return!
