On September 11, BigHit Music posted an official notice titled “Warning About Impersonation and Fraud Cases” on their social media accounts.

The agency shared, “Recently, there have been reports of phishing attempts by people pretending to be BigHit Music or its representatives, targeting many individuals.” They explained that these scams were happening through text messages and social media DMs.

BigHit Music made it clear, “We do not send any messages like this through text, social media, or personal emails. Our recruitment processes do not involve asking for money or offering financial rewards.”

They also urged fans, “Please do not respond to or inquire about such messages, and delete them immediately. Stay alert and avoid becoming a victim of these scams.”
