Girls' Generation's Sooyoung recently opened up about the group's future activities, making fans excited!
On September 9, a video titled "30 Minutes of Nostalgia with SNSD & Super Junior" was posted on the YouTube channel Donghaemul and Baekdu Eunhyuk.
In the video, Sooyoung shared some fun stories and talked about the possibility of Girls' Generation coming back as a full group.
Sooyoung mentioned that the members got together to celebrate their 17th debut anniversary. Fans noticed how Yuri showed up in a different outfit than the rest of the group, and Sooyoung explained what happened.
"We always have a dress code when we meet," she said. "This time, it was for Tiffany's birthday, and we all agreed to wear white. Tiffany even sent us a picture from a Kardashian family party for inspiration. But Yuri thought it was black-and-white and just did her own thing," Sooyoung shared with a laugh.
During the conversation, Donghae asked, "Since you meet up so often, why not release an album every once in a while?"
Sooyoung responded, "Girls' Generation has always aimed for high-quality music. The time we spend together is special, and if the album doesn't meet our standards, we’d rather wait and prepare something better."
Fans also wanted to know if they could expect a 20th-anniversary album, and Sooyoung hinted at exciting plans. "Yes, there are only three years left until our 20th anniversary, and I really want to do a tour," she said.
However, she also mentioned that the members' busy schedules make it difficult to plan. "We’ve tried before, but it’s hard to match everyone's schedules," she added.
