Former BIGBANG member Daesung recently looked back on his time in the military and shared some fun memories about TWICE’s music.
On September 9, Daesung posted a video on his YouTube channel where he cooked for friends. In the video, he talked about his military days, saying, "The word 'nukkok' makes me think of TWICE’s 'KNOCK KNOCK.'" He explained, "
When I was in the army, our room was all about TWICE, and the room next door was all about BLACKPINK. We had to listen to 'KNOCK KNOCK' so many times, probably fifty thousand times. Our room was definitely a TWICE zone."
Daesung also mentioned his fellow celebrities in the military, including actor Jo Yoon Woo, Jo Sung Ho, BTOB’s Seo Eun Kwang, and B1A4’s Shinwoo. He said, "The four of us, including me, were like the ‘Eagle Brothers’ of the Igi-ja unit."
With a smile, he added, "I took care of the Igi-ja unit diligently, and if I could, I’d love to greet everyone as the Igi-ja Five Brothers."
Daesung's memories from his military service offer a glimpse into his experiences and the camaraderie he shared with his fellow soldiers.
