NCT member Doyoung has just wrapped up his first solo tour in Japan with great success!
The ‘2024 DOYOUNG CONCERT [Dear Youth,] in JAPAN’ tour took Doyoung to four cities: Yokohama (June 24-25), Osaka (June 26), Nagoya (August 10-11), and Tokyo (September 7-8). Every single one of the seven shows was sold out, proving Doyoung’s strong popularity in Japan.
The Tokyo concerts at the Tokyo Gymnasium Main Arena were packed with 18,000 fans each night. The crowd enjoyed a fantastic show featuring Doyoung’s powerful vocals, emotional performances, and a relaxed stage presence, all amidst enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
Throughout the tour, Doyoung performed tracks from his solo album, including ‘Firefly,’ ‘Song of New Spring,’ ‘To My Sea,’ and ‘Comma.’
He also delighted fans with special stages for his Japanese songs ‘Cry,’ Nakashima Mika’s ‘Snow Flower (雪の華),’ and Aimer’s ‘I Want to Convey My Love (愛を伝えたいだとか),’ totaling 22 unique performances.
At the end of the tour, Doyoung shared his gratitude, saying, “Thanks to the fans, I was able to successfully finish my first Japanese tour. I will cherish the moments spent with you and always sing as a Doyoung who can be a source of strength for you.”
Next up, Doyoung will start his first Asian tour, ‘2024 DOYOUNG CONCERT [Dear Youth,]’ with a show in Jakarta, Indonesia, at ICE BSD HALL 1 on September 21.
