BTS’s Jimin Takes the Crown in Global Popularity Polls with a ’10 Crown Victory’

BTS member Jimin has once again proven his global popularity by dominating the KDOL (K-pop Idol Popularity Poll Service App) rankings, even while serving in the military.

On August 31, Jimin clinched the top spot in the KDOL monthly rankings for August with a whopping 253,533,792 votes. This is Jimin’s 37th consecutive month at number one, setting a new record for the most monthly wins.

Jimin also topped the weekly rankings for the 5th week of August (August 26 to September 1) with 111,648,320 votes, marking his 169th time in first place.

Jimin‘s impressive streak continues as he holds the top spot in the KDOL Hall of Fame with a total of 15,567,675,592 cumulative votes as of September 7.

He also leads in KDOL‘s record categories, holding the top five spots for ‘Longest Consecutive Daily Rankings at Number 1’ and achieved 4,544,542 hearts in the daily ranking as of September 6, setting a record with 1,122 total number-one wins.

As of September 7, Jimin’s records include:

  • Most cumulative votes: 15,567,675,592
  • Most daily number-one rankings: 1,122 times
  • Most weekly number-one rankings: 169 times
  • Most monthly number-one rankings: 37 times
  • Most daily votes: 2,686,681,922

Jimin has swept all 10 categories in the Hall of Fame.

The KDOL app, reflecting votes from fans worldwide including the US, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Korea, updates its rankings in real-time. Daily, weekly, and monthly results are refreshed at midnight Korean time.

In celebration of his August ranking victory, Jimin’s reward advertisements will be featured at two subway stations in the Seoul metropolitan area for a month.
