BTS member Jungkook is still making waves with his solo songs on Billboard charts.
According to the latest Billboard update (September 7), his hit song “Seven” landed at No. 83 on the ‘Global 200’ chart. It also secured the No. 44 spot on the ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ chart. Impressively, “Seven” has stayed on both charts for 59 weeks straight.
Another track, “Standing Next to You,” re-entered the ‘Global 200’ at No. 195, marking its 37th week on the chart. It also took the No. 123 position on the ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ chart, where it’s been for 43 weeks.
Earlier, “Seven” broke records by becoming the highest-streamed solo song on the ‘Global 200’ chart, with a massive 217.1 million streams and 269,000 sales worldwide.
It even became the first male artist song to surpass 100 million streams for five weeks in a row on the ‘Global 200’ and four consecutive weeks on the ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ chart.
“Seven” also grabbed the No. 1 spot for nine weeks straight on the ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ chart and seven consecutive weeks on the ‘Global 200.’ It became the first Asian song to top both charts for seven weeks, setting a new record.
Jungkook’s other solo tracks like “Standing Next to You” and “3D” have also taken the No. 1 spots on both the ‘Global 200’ and ‘Global Excl. U.S.’ charts, proving his global power as a solo artist.
