Fencing star Oh Sang Wook recently shared a hilarious story about how he ended up getting circumcised, all thanks to teammate Kim Jung Hwan.

On the September 4th episode of MBC’s Radio Star, Oh Sang Wook appeared alongside fellow athletes Gu Bon Gil, shooter Kim Ye Ji, archers Kim Woo Jin and Lim Si Hyeon, and boxer Lim Ae Ji, after their impressive performances at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Oh Sang Wook opened up about something that's been following him since his last appearance on the show. “The last time I was here, we talked about a certain surgery that men get. People should be saying, ‘Wow, a gold medalist is so cool,’ but instead, all they think of is circumcision.”

This all started when his teammate, Kim Jung Hwan, previously spilled the beans. Gu Bon Gil chimed in, adding, "Jung Hwan hyung even paid for the procedure." Oh Sang Wook laughed and explained, “It was kind of forced. He invited me for tonkatsu, and that’s when he took me for the surgery!”

Host Kim Gura was shocked and asked, “Is it a tradition for seniors to pay for this kind of thing?” Oh Sang Wook responded, “Most guys have already had it done.”

Gu Bon Gil then joked, “When our Avengers team would go to the sauna, we’d say, ‘For good teamwork, we should all be the same,’ which is probably why he convinced me to do it,” making everyone laugh on set.

Now, with her return to full-group promotions with 2NE1, it seems she's back to taking great care of herself—and fans are absolutely loving it.
