Actress Lee Yoo Bi recently opened up about the skincare routine that has helped her achieve her glowing complexion.
On September 3, Lee Yoo Bi shared a video on her YouTube channel 'TtoYooBi' titled "Busy Busy Yoo-bi Taking Care of Herself | 6 Years of Consistent Care." In the video, she revealed the steps she takes to maintain her skin.
"People often ask about my skincare routine, so I decided to show everything I do, especially since I have an ad shoot tomorrow," she explained.
Lee Yoo Bi started by mentioning a facial massage she's been getting regularly for the past 6-7 years. "The massage begins with my scalp to lift my face. My skin is sensitive and prone to allergies, so facial massages can be painful for me. That's why I focus more on scalp massages to keep my skin firm," she shared.
While at the massage parlor, Lee Yoo Bi recalled, "In the past, the owner used to be frustrated because my real appearance didn't translate well on camera." The owner chimed in, saying, "Your face used to appear bumpy and asymmetrical." Lee Yoo Bi added, "After consistently getting these massages, I've heard from many people that I look better on screen."
Following the massage, Lee Yoo Bi proudly showed off her more defined jawline. She then moved on to a power plate workout. "I can't say for sure if it helps with weight loss, but it definitely improves circulation. It may look like nothing, but those who've tried it will understand. My stamina has improved, and my body feels lighter," she explained.
After working up a sweat, Lee Yoo Bi underwent cryotherapy. She noted, "This treatment helps me sleep better and reduces swelling. It might just be in my head, but since I started this about five years ago, I rarely get colds and have become more resistant to the cold. Even during winter shoots, I feel fine."
To wrap up her routine, Lee Yoo Bi received a skincare treatment. She emphasized, "Some people naturally have strong skin barriers, but for someone like me who deals with allergies and has a weaker skin barrier, finding the right routine is crucial. And of course, eating well is the most important thing."
Meanwhile, Lee Yoo Bi recently starred as the lead in the SBS drama 'The Escape of the Seven,' which wrapped up last May.
