• Son Heung Min Shares His Love for Gaming: "I Spend on In-Game Purchases Without Asking Mom"

Soccer star Son Heung Min recently revealed how he enjoys spending his money—on in-game purchases.

On September 3, Son Heung Min appeared on the YouTube show 'SalonDrip 2', where he opened up about his passion for gaming.

Comedian Jang Do Yeon, who hosted the show, asked him about balancing his love for games with his busy schedule.

"You like games, but since you don’t have much time, do you often have to resist playing even when you want to?" Jang Do Yeon asked.

Son Heung Min replied, "I really love games. I enjoy playing 'League of Legends' and 'PUBG.' When I have time, I play with my friends. I'm very serious about it. If I lose, I review what went wrong because it’s a team game."

When asked about his competitiveness, he admitted, "A lot of it comes from gaming. I hate losing in soccer, but I also really hate losing in games."

The conversation then turned to in-game purchases, where Son Heung Min was quick to point out, "Games are all about in-game purchases."

He explained, "You can’t buy time with money, but in games, you can. It helps save time. When I was younger and lived at home, my mom didn’t allow in-game purchases. I understood that back then. But now that I earn my own money, and I’m not reckless with it, I don’t need to ask for permission anymore," he said, bringing some laughs.

Jang Do Yeon responded, "That's quite healthy. It's not like you're doing anything wrong." Son Heung Min agreed, adding, "As long as it's within your means and not over the top. But there’s also fun in leveling up."
