• Shin Hyun Bin Shares Thoughts on 14-Year Age Gap with Moon Sang Min: "It Was a Challenge, But We Got Along Well"

Shin Hyun Bin recently opened up about her on-screen chemistry with Moon Sang Min, despite their 14-year age gap.

On September 3, Shin Hyun Bin met with reporters at a café in Seoul, to chat about her role in the new Coupang Play and Channel A drama 'Cinderella at 2 AM'.

In 'Cinderella at 2 AM' , Shin Hyun Bin plays Yoon Seo, a capable woman who decides to end her relationship with a perfect chaebol man, played by Moon Sang Min.

Shin Hyun Bin shared her thoughts on working with Moon Sang Min, saying, "It was really comfortable. At first, we were both a bit shy, and I wondered if it would work out."

She continued, "When we first met, Sang Min wouldn’t look at my face. He would look down while talking, so I wasn’t sure how to respond. But he was honest and said he thought we had good chemistry and would get along well. It made me think he was an interesting friend, and we ended up getting close faster than I expected."

Shin Hyun Bin also mentioned that, despite the age gap, they shared many common interests. She noted, "I wondered if Sang Min had lied about his age because we had so many similar interests. He’s straightforward and cheerful, so we became comfortable with each other quickly. I didn’t feel the age difference much while filming."

Regarding the age difference, she said, "Sang Min often said things that seemed unusual for his age. There were scenes where we took photos of each other, and he joked about it feeling like a professional photographer was involved. He was also surprised when I knew old songs, asking, 'Do you know this?' It felt like interacting with a friend."

When asked if the age gap was a challenge, Shin Hyun Bin admitted, "There was some pressure. I mentioned it to the director early on, and the director said I didn’t look my age and that the age difference in the drama was meant to be four years, but I didn’t come across that way. So I decided to go for it. I’m relieved that viewers don’t seem to notice the age gap much."

'Cinderella at 2 AM' airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM on Coupang Play and will be broadcast on Channel A starting at 9:20 PM.

  • Taeyeon's Japan concert officially canceled and fans are heartbroken, says: "feels like the show was stolen" Here's Why

Taeyeon’s Tokyo concert has sadly been canceled for good, and both she and her fans are feeling emotional.

On April 29, SM Entertainment shared an official statement confirming that 'Taeyeon Concert – The ODD of LOVE in Japan' will not be happening anymore. The show was originally scheduled for April 19–20 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo.

SM stated, “After the concert was postponed, we did our best to find another venue that could hold the same number of fans and still offer the best performance. But we couldn’t secure a proper venue, so we’ve decided to cancel the concert.”

They also added, “We’re really sorry to all the fans who waited patiently. We checked every possible way to make it happen, but in the end, we had no choice but to make this difficult decision. Thank you for your understanding.”

As for those who already bought tickets, SM said, “You’ll get a full refund. Please check the My Page section or your ticket email on April 30 for more info.”

Taeyeon was supposed to hold her concert in Tokyo as part of her Asia tour. But earlier this month, the concert had to be canceled last-minute due to equipment delays.

After hearing the news, Taeyeon shared her thoughts through her fan communication platform. She said, “When the news about the canceled concert came out, I was really worried about SONE. I didn’t even know what to say.”

She added, “It felt like a concert that everyone worked hard on and looked forward to just disappeared. Like it was stolen from us. I don’t even know how to explain how empty and helpless I feel.”

Fans have been showing their support, saying they’ll continue to wait for her return to Japan.
