• NewJeans' Minji Opens Up About Min Hee Jin's Dismissal: "I Couldn't Do Anything"

NewJeans' Minji has shared her feelings following the recent dismissal of ADOR's CEO, Min Hee Jin.

On September 2, Minji took to NewJeans' app, Phoning, to express her thoughts. She said, "The weather is so nice. I wanted summer to end quickly because of the heat, but now that autumn is coming, I feel unsettled."

She continued, "There are things that happened recently and before that I wanted to share, but I haven't been able to. It's already been about a week. I wanted to tell the Bunnies who comforted and supported me that I'm okay and give them comfort in return, but I just couldn’t this time."

With the ongoing conflict between HYBE and ADOR, Min Hee Jin was dismissed as CEO of ADOR, and Kim Joo Young, an internal director, was appointed as the new CEO. Minji’s words seem to reflect her struggle with these changes.

Minji expressed her frustration, saying, "There aren't enough hours in the day to talk about good things, so it feels so unfair to go through these unnecessary hardships. I’m really sorry, and I’m so frustrated that I can't solve anything. Even as I’m writing this now, just like yesterday, there’s nothing I can do, and nothing has been resolved."

She added, "I don’t know how long these anxious days will last, and saying this might be selfish, but I hope that our Bunnies and we don’t have to go through any more tough times."

Meanwhile, HYBE conducted an audit in April, accusing Min Hee Jin and Vice President A of trying to take control of the management. They even filed a complaint against them for breach of duty. However, Min Hee Jin has denied these allegations, holding an emergency press conference, and the conflict is still ongoing.
