BTS‘ Jungkook has been showered with love and generosity from fans worldwide for his birthday.
To mark Jungkook‘s special day on September 1, fans took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to organize a heartwarming donation relay.
In Japan, Jungkook’s fan club ‘Jungkook Japan’ teamed up with the Han Don Self-Help Association to donate around 15 million won worth of Han Don (Korean pork) to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation.
This generous act aims to provide warm meals for children in need. ‘Jungkook Japan’ shared, “This donation is a reflection of Jungkook’s Japanese fans’ love for children. Even though we’re from different countries, we hope these children grow up healthy and strong, just like Jungkook.”
Internationally, the fan club ‘Golden JK Universe’ made a $300 donation to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation to support children battling cancer. They also contributed over $1,000 to four other charities around the globe, including the UK’s Children’s Cancer Foundation, Mexico’s AMANC (Association for Children with Cancer), and Uruguay’s Montevideo Foundation.
In South Korea, fan accounts ‘Easy T’ and ‘Jungkook and Me’ donated about 1 million won to Seoul National University Hospital. Meanwhile, the international fan account ’97SARCHIVES’ partnered with the Indian charity ‘CRY’ (Child Rights and You) to provide educational opportunities to over 40 children, further spreading Jungkook’s positive influence.
In the Philippines, Jungkook’s fanbases ‘Golden Alliance Philippines’ and ‘JK Daily’ worked with the HERO Foundation to support families of fallen soldiers in Mindanao by donating school supplies as part of their birthday tribute.
Jungkook’s birthday has truly become a global celebration of kindness and giving, reflecting the singer’s inspiring impact on fans everywhere.
