DAY6 has made a powerful return with their latest track “Melt Down,” taking the top spot on major music charts in Korea. The song, from their new mini-album “Band Aid,” was released on September 2 at 6 PM and quickly climbed to No. 1 on Melon Top 100, Hot 100, and real-time charts, as well as Genie, Bugs, and Vibe’s rising charts by 9 PM.

This marks the first time in their 10-year career that DAY6 has swept the charts, solidifying their position as one of the top bands in the industry.

“Melt Down” made an impressive debut on the Melon Top 100 chart, entering at No. 5 just one hour after its release. By 9 PM, it had reached No. 1. All eight tracks from the album, including “Monster,” “She Smiled,” “Ruined Game,” and “Help Me Rock&Roll,” also landed on Melon, Genie, and Bugs charts by 7 PM.

Their previous release, “Welcome to the Show,” also saw a resurgence, climbing to No. 3 on the Melon Top 100 chart at midnight on September 3. As of 8 AM that day, DAY6 had an incredible 12 songs on the Melon Top 100 chart, with four of them—”Melt Down,” “Welcome to the Show,” “You Were Beautiful,” and “HAPPY”—in the Top 10, showcasing their impressive charting power.

The “Band Aid” album topped real-time album charts on Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart at 7 PM on the 2nd and ranked 10th on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart. By September 3, it was No. 1 on iTunes Album Charts in nine regions, including Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The music video for “Melt Down,” which shows DAY6 bringing warmth and color to a cold, frozen world, also ranked 3rd on YouTube’s trending music chart in Korea.

After a break, DAY6‘s full-group comeback with “Band Aid” has been met with huge excitement. The album title combines “Band” and “Aid,” reflecting the group’s message of offering support through their music. The title track “Melt Down” expresses the idea that even in a world frozen by despair, warmth and hope can melt it all away, blending energetic sounds with heartfelt lyrics.

The members—Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon—were deeply involved in writing and composing all the tracks on “Band Aid,” leading to an impressive first-day performance. Following their active promotions, DAY6 is set to hold a solo concert at Incheon’s Inspire Arena from the 20th to the 22nd, selling out all 40,000 seats across three performances.

They will also kick off their third world tour, “DAY6 3RD WORLD TOUR .”
