Stray Kids Takes Top Artist Award: “We Aim to Spread Happiness”

Stray Kids has won the Top Artist Award at the 51st Korean Broadcasting Awards!

The awards ceremony took place on the afternoon of the 2nd at the KBS TV Open Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, and was broadcast live on SBS.

Stray Kids, known for their performances on shows like MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ and ‘Gayo Daechukje,’ were honored with the Top Artist Award.

In a video message, Stray Kids expressed their thanks, saying, “We wish we could have attended the ceremony in person, but our schedule prevented us from doing so. We are grateful to be able to greet you through this video.” They added, “The love we receive from fans around the world is thanks to the amazing stage provided by terrestrial broadcasting.”

The group continued, “We are deeply thankful for the broadcast staff who work hard to capture the special moments of K-POP stars. Receiving this meaningful award is thanks to our fans, STAY, who always support us. We appreciate and love you all.”

Stray Kids also shared, “Many people are working hard to ensure K-POP and K-content can inspire on a global scale. We will also work hard to connect with fans worldwide through our music and spread happiness. Thank you very much.”

The Korean Broadcasting Awards, established in 1973, aim to encourage high-quality programming and advance the Korean broadcasting industry. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Korean Broadcasting Association, which organizes the awards.

The judging process for this year’s awards included 243 entries from 63 broadcasters, with awards given for one grand prize, 30 program awards, and 18 individual awards.
