• NewJeans' 'Ditto' and 'ETA' MV Director Reveals ADOR Requested All Work to Be Deleted

Shin Woo Seok, the CEO of Dolphin Kidnapping Co. and the creative mind behind NewJeans' music videos for "Ditto" and "ETA," has revealed that ADOR has requested the removal of all content related to NewJeans.

On September 2nd, Shin shared on social media, "It looks like ADOR has undergone a policy change with their new management. Because of this, they've asked us to delete all the music videos and related content that Dolphin Kidnapping Co. has created and uploaded, as well as any planned videos that were set to be released."

He explained further, "The Dolphin Kidnapping Co. and Ban Hee Soo YouTube channels were mainly set up as a portfolio to showcase our work, and we don't make any money from them. These videos were made purely out of a desire to create something special for the fans, without any financial gain."

Shin added, "But with ADOR's new stance, all of these videos will be deleted and can no longer be shared. As of now, it seems that any future collaboration between Dolphin Kidnapping Co. and ADOR is no longer possible."

He expressed his disappointment, saying, "There were projects we had planned with the NewJeans members for the future, but it's really unfortunate that we can't follow through with them. I want to apologize to the staff who worked so hard for months and, most of all, to the fans who were eagerly waiting."

This comes after ADOR announced on August 27th that former CEO Min Hee Jin was dismissed and replaced by Kim Joo Young, an internal director, as the new CEO.

While ADOR mentioned that Min Hee Jin would still be involved in NewJeans' production as an internal director, Min's side disagreed, claiming she was unilaterally dismissed and that the terms of the proposed contract for her continued involvement were unreasonable.
