(G)I-DLE has wrapped up their Tokyo concert with great success.
On August 31 and September 1, (G)I-DLE performed at the ‘2024 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [iDOL] IN TOKYO‘ at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
After starting their world tour in Seoul and performing in Hong Kong, (G)I-DLE brought their energy to Japan, where they connected deeply with their fans.
The concert kicked off with a powerful opening that included performances of “Super Lady,” “Revenge,” and “LATATA.”
This marks their third visit to Tokyo through their world tours in 2022, 2023, and now this year. The members greeted their fans warmly, saying, “The concept of this world tour is ‘iDOL.’ We want to show you what being an ‘idol’ truly means.”
Following this, they delivered more unique performances with songs like “Oh my god,” “VILLAIN DIES,” and solo stages.
A standout moment of the night was during their performance of “Klaxon,” the title track from their 7th mini-album released in July.
The audience joined in, singing the chorus, “hon hon Hit the Klaxon,” creating an unforgettable moment of unity. The energy continued to rise with performances of “Fate (I Hate Being Sick)” and “Allergy.”
(G)I-DLE also prepared a special treat for their Japanese fans. They performed “Marigold” by Japanese singer Aimyon, explaining that they wanted to share the flower’s meaning of “happiness that will surely come” with their fans, Neverland.
The concert became a memorable experience as fans filled the arena, singing along with the group. The members expressed their gratitude, saying, “Thank you for always supporting us and sending love from afar. We’ll continue to bring you great music. We’re always grateful.”
(G)I-DLE‘s world tour will continue on September 6 at the Tacoma Dome in Seattle, USA.
