• Fencer Oh Sanguk Disappointed by Kim Yoo Jung Pizza Prank, Envious of Do Kyungdong

Fencing champion Oh Sanguk had a bit of a letdown when a surprise involving his ideal type didn’t go as planned, leaving him a bit envious of his fellow fencer Do Kyungdong.

On the September 1st episode of KBS 2TV's 'The Return of Superman,' fencers Oh Sanguk and Do Kyungdong visited to meet siblings Eunwoo and Jungwoo.

Kim Junho set up a special event to celebrate the success of the two fencers from the Paris Olympics. After rolling out a red carpet for them, Kim Junho thrilled Do Kyungdong, a big fan of IVE, with a video message from IVE's Ahn Yujin. Do Kyungdong was overjoyed, his excitement evident as he blushed at the surprise.

Meanwhile, Oh Sanguk’s expression was a mix of hope and disappointment. On a previous episode of 'The Return of Superman,' Oh Sanguk had revealed that Kim Yoo Jung was his ideal type.

So, when Kim Junho said he had a special surprise for Oh Sanguk too, mentioning that Kim Yoo Jung was waiting outside, Oh Sanguk's anticipation was palpable as he raced to the door.

However, instead of meeting Kim Yoo Jung, Oh Sanguk found a pizza from the brand she endorses. The delivery, though not as hoped, was a playful prank.

Laughing off the letdown, Oh Sanguk joked, “It was an honor to meet Kim Yoo Jung, even if it was just through a pizza. Even though she wasn’t really here, I felt like I met her in my own way.” The moment brought laughter and light-heartedness to the show.
