• Zico Praises OH MY GIRL’s Growth Since Debut: "Skills and Visuals Have Both Improved"

Rapper Zico has praised OH MY GIRL for their impressive growth since their debut.

On the August 30 episode of KBS 2TV's music show 'The Seasons - Zico's Artist,' OH MY GIRL joined as guests. Zico remarked, "It’s hard to believe it’s already their 10th anniversary." Mimi added, "Back when we debuted, Arin was 17, Yubin was 19, YooA and I were 21, and Seunghee, who is older, was also 21. Hyojung was 22."

When old footage from their debut was shown, the members felt a bit embarrassed. Zico commented, "Seeing old photos is usually a bit awkward but also cute. It’s clear their skills and visuals have both improved over the years."

Zico then asked, "After 10 years, do you have any habits known only to the members?" Mimi answered, "Hyojung always smiles." Hyojung added, "I started smiling a lot back when I was doing children’s songs. I realized people thought my smile was pretty, so I kept it up. It’s not a natural smile though."

YooA shared, "Seunghee has a unique habit when she does ad-libs. When she gets emotional, she tilts her head at a 45-degree angle. Sometimes it seems exaggerated to old friends." Seunghee added, "When I look at the sky, I feel many stories, which makes my ad-libs more emotional. My face turns red when I sing, so I try to hide it a bit to look pretty on screen," causing laughter among the group.

Zico also mentioned that OH MY GIRL has a hip-hop hopeful. Seunghee responded, "I admired groups like 2NE1 growing up. Even though I thought I lost my chance to pursue hip-hop, I’m trying to revive that dream." Seunghee then passionately performed CL’s 'Mental Breakdown,' with the other members joining in and enjoying the performance.
