Lee Jae Wook recently shared why he decided to appear on "The Artist."

On the August 30th episode of KBS 2TV's "The Seasons - Zico's The Artist," viewers saw appearances by Oh My Girl, Lee Jae Wook, and So Soo Bin.

During the show, Lee Jae Wook greeted everyone, admitting, "I'm really nervous." Zico quickly chimed in, saying, "Jae Wook told me two weeks ago that he felt like his heart was going to burst," trying to help him relax. Lee Jae Wook also confessed, "I was so nervous about singing in front of everyone."

Zico then opened up about their friendship, sharing, "We met privately, and I was struck by how tall and handsome he is. Plus, he sings really well. You know that feeling, right? I cast him on the spot."

Lee Jae Wook remembered that moment clearly, saying, "I still remember it. He ran up to me and asked me to appear on 'The Artist.' I told him, 'I have nothing to promote,' but he said, 'Just trust me.'"

Zico was grateful for Lee Jae Wook's quick decision, adding, "What really stood out to me was that, usually, when someone is asked something like that, they say, 'I'll think about it,' but he immediately said, 'Sure, I'll do it.'"
