JYP Entertainment is taking a tough stand against the recent scandal involving deepfake videos targeting TWICE.
On August 30, JYP Entertainment shared an update through the TWICE FANS app, saying, “We are taking the situation of deepfake videos targeting our artists very seriously.”
The agency continued, “This is a clear illegal act. We are gathering all related materials and will take strong legal action with no leniency, working with a specialized law firm.”
They added, “We will not tolerate any actions that violate our artists' rights and will respond firmly until the end.”
