Actress Song Hye Kyo recently opened up about her friendship with Suzy and addressed the rumors about her youthful appearance.
On August 27th, the YouTube channel 'Elle Korea' released a video titled, "Title Song Hye Kyo. No Further Explanation Needed," where Song Hye Kyo shared some updates on her life.
"I recently finished filming a movie, so I've been taking it easy," she said. "I'm having a great time with friends. When I'm working on a project, I don't have much free time to see friends. Right now, I don't have much to worry about, so I'm spending time on personal things."
She added, "I need time alone. After spending time with others, I definitely need some time to myself. When I'm alone, I watch movies, listen to music, clean the house, walk my dog, and fully enjoy my own time."
Song Hye Kyo also talked about her growing friendship with Suzy. "We've gotten closer recently. After the Blue Dragon Series Awards handprinting event, we went to my house and spent some time together. We also met up after the awards ceremony. We chatted, talked a lot, and then parted ways."
When asked if there was a moment when she genuinely thought she looked beautiful, Song Hye Kyo responded, "Yes." She explained, "Sometimes at international events or when I'm shooting a pictorial like today, I get styled and made up in new ways each time, and I think to myself, 'I look pretty.'"
She also addressed the "vampire rumor" sparked by her youthful appearance. "Aging naturally is a given, but since my face is part of my work, I'm doing my best to take care of myself and slow down the aging process as much as possible," she said.
Reflecting on her career, Song Hye Kyo shared what she would say to her younger self. "You started without knowing much, but you've worked really hard and done well up to now. I want to tell you, 'You did a great job.'"
As for what she would say to herself 20 years from now, she added, "If I'm still working, I'd probably think, 'You're still working?' I would want to say, 'You worked really hard,' and 'It's time to rest now.'"
