NewJeans is continuing to shine on major charts in the US, Korea, and Japan!
As of August 27, Billboard reports that NewJeans' Japanese debut single, ‘Supernatural,’ is holding strong at 80th on the 'Global (Excl. US)' chart and 165th on the 'Global 200.' This marks 9 weeks on the chart for the track.
Their double single ‘How Sweet,’ which came out in May, is also performing well. The title track of the same name is 83rd on 'Global (Excl. US)' and 178th on 'Global 200,' keeping its spot on the charts for 13 weeks.
Back in Korea, NewJeans is still a major force. On the Melon Weekly Chart (August 19 to 25), ‘How Sweet’ is in 3rd place, ‘Supernatural’ is at 7th, and ‘Bubble Gum’ is 11th. Overall, 10 NewJeans tracks, including older hits, are on the chart, showing their lasting appeal.
On Bugs, ‘Supernatural’ briefly hit the number one spot on the real-time chart as of August 26, 4 PM. ‘How Sweet’ is in 3rd place and ‘Bubble Gum’ is 7th, highlighting their continued popularity.
In Japan, NewJeans is also making waves. They placed 8 songs on Spotify Japan’s ‘Weekly Top Songs’ (August 16 to August 22) and 4 songs on Apple Music Japan’s ‘Daily Top 100.’
