Min Hee Jin is no longer the CEO of ADOR, but she'll still be working closely with NewJeans.
On August 27th, ADOR announced, "We held a board meeting today and appointed Kim Joo Young, an internal director at ADOR, as the new CEO."
Kim Joo Young is known as an HR expert with a lot of experience in different industries. ADOR said, "Kim Joo Young, the new CEO, will focus on stabilizing the organization and managing internal affairs at ADOR."
Even though Min Hee Jin is stepping down as CEO, ADOR confirmed, "She will stay on as an internal director and continue her producing duties for NewJeans."
ADOR also revealed, "We’re reorganizing the internal structure to separate production and management. This has been the rule for all other labels, but ADOR was different because the CEO handled both roles."
They added, "With these changes, ADOR aims to fully support NewJeans' growth and future success."
Min Hee Jin was previously involved in a legal dispute with ADOR's parent company, HYBE, over management rights.
