• Actor Son Ho Joon and TWICE’s Jeongyeon Reveal Their Unexpected Friendship, Thanks to Gong Seung Yeon

Actor Son Ho Joon and TWICE’s Jeongyeon have a surprising link!

On August 24, the show 'The Appraiser' dropped a new video called "Are they close? Introverted Son Ho Joon was teased a lot (with Yoo Seung Ho and Lee Tae Bin)."

In the video, Son Ho Joon talked about his connection with Jeongyeon. He shared, "I asked to be on the show to promote my play 'Angels in America.' Actually, I reached out to Jeongyeon for help."

Their friendship started through Jeongyeon's sister, Gong Seung Yeon, who is also an actress and had dating rumors with Son Ho Joon in the past.

Son Ho Joon explained, "While filming 'Police Station Next to Fire Station,' I got close to Gong Seung Yeon. We spent a lot of time together, and Jeongyeon visited us. When I met Jeongyeon, I thought, 'I need to get to know her.'"

Jeongyeon added, “There's another reason. I took up tennis because of my brother, and I even donated a tennis racket.” Son Ho Joon jokingly responded, “I thought about bringing my own racket, but Jeongyeon’s was so much better, so I decided not to,” making everyone laugh.

When asked about her first impression of Son Ho Joon, Jeongyeon said, “It was very intriguing.” She then revealed, “You didn’t know about TWICE. When Momo’s name came up, you thought Momo was a dog's name,” which embarrassed Son Ho Joon.

Son Ho Joon responded, “What? Is this a big deal? Am I in trouble?” Jeongyeon reassured him, “It’s fine. Her name is Momo. The important thing is that I know.”

After returning to the stage for the first time in a decade with his play, Son Ho Joon is promoting 'Angels in America' and showed off his painted nails.

He mentioned, “I painted them myself. I have a lot of nail polish at home, organized by day of the week. Yoo Seung Ho and I share the same role. He performs one day, and I perform the next. I once did a musical.”

Fans are intrigued by the unexpected friendship between Son Ho Joon and Jeongyeon, especially since Jeongyeon is Gong Seung Yeon’s younger sister.

Earlier in March, there were dating rumors between Son Ho Joon and Gong Seung Yeon, but both quickly denied them, calling it a misunderstanding.
