    Broadcast personality Dex, known for his role as a former UDT member, has been targeted by a deepfake scam.

    On August 23, Dex’s agency, Kick the Hurdle Studio, alerted fans through their official social media about illegal gambling ads using deepfake technology to impersonate Dex. These fake ads are being spread online, including on YouTube and social media.

    The agency clarified that Dex has never been involved in illegal gambling ads, and these videos are simply manipulated clips from his previous appearances. They urged the public to be vigilant and promised to take strong action against these fraudulent activities.

    Dex is currently seen on various entertainment shows, including tvN's Sister’s Sandwich and Disney+’s The Zone: Survival Mission Season 3.

    We want to inform you about a serious issue involving illegal gambling ads using deepfake and AI technology that falsely feature our artist Dex.

    These fake ads are being spread across online communities, YouTube, and social media. Dex has never been involved in any illegal gambling app promotions. The ads you see are manipulated videos using old clips of Dex.

    Please report any fake ads you come across and stay cautious to avoid any issues from these deceptive ads.
