BIGBANG’s Daesung has shared the reason behind his struggle to get in touch with actress Kim Ji-won.
On August 23, Daesung released a video titled “The Best Output Created by What’s Up” on his ‘Jib Daesung’ channel. In the video, Daesung was joined by Jo Jung Seok, his co-star from the drama What’s Up.
They reminisced about their time on the show, with Jo Jung Seok recalling Daesung’s thoughtful and ambitious nature, even at a young age.
Jo Jung Seok praised Daesung’s talent and expressed hope that he would continue acting. However, Daesung revealed he hasn’t been able to get acting offers and has been unable to contact his former co-stars, including Kim Ji Won.
He expressed concern that reaching out might seem like he’s using his fame.
Jo Jung Seok encouraged Daesung to try contacting Kim Ji Won, joking that her number might have changed.
They even sent a video message to her, with Daesung saying, “Ji Won, it’s us. Are you busy these days? If you feel lonely when you’re in Korea, remember there’s a place here for you.” Jo Jung Seok invited her to appear on ‘Jib Daesung,’ while Daesung added, “Please contact Ji Won. I’m always available.”
