• Jeon Somi Reveals Struggles with Hair Loss: "I Had Bald Spots and Needed Hair Extensions"

Jeon Somi recently opened up about her hair care struggles.

In an episode of the YouTube channel 'Hyeri' posted on August 16, Somi shared her experience with unexpected hair loss during a candid chat. The video, titled "Getting Swayed by the Chaotic Flirting of an ENFP," featured Somi as a guest.

When asked about her scalp care routine, Somi revealed, "I usually take care of my skin and hair at home. I don’t go to dermatologists; I prefer doing basic care myself."

However, she admitted that her hair had gone through a rough time recently. "During one of my promotions, I had a lot of blow-drying and dyeing done. The dye job didn’t go well, and all my hair broke off," she shared.

The shocking part came when Somi mentioned, "Before that, I even had a bald spot at the back of my head. It was unbelievable, and I was the most depressed I’ve ever been."

Somi explained that the intense styling during promotions left her hair severely damaged. "My hair got so short, and I realized how bad it was. Even when I was running, my hair wouldn’t move. It was stuck to my head like choppy bangs," she said, recalling the difficult time.

To fix the problem, Somi revealed, "I ended up getting a hair extension procedure, which is usually for people with severe hair loss. They attach hair directly to your scalp. After my promotions, I went and got it done, and I also started taking scalp care very seriously."

She added, "I wasn’t the type to take supplements regularly, but after that incident, I knew I had to. Thankfully, my condition has improved now."
