IVE is gearing up to light up Japan's biggest music festival.
The girl group, featuring Ahn Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo, will take the stage at 'Summer Sonic 2024' on September 17 in Osaka's Maibara Memorial Park and September 18 in Tokyo’s ZOZO Marine Town & Makuhari Messe.
'Summer Sonic 2024' is Japan's largest urban music festival, drawing around 200,000 attendees annually. With a lineup of top Japanese and international artists, IVE is set to wow the crowd with their energetic performances and hit songs.
Since their debut in Japan in October 2022, IVE has been making waves. Their debut single album, 'ELEVEN,' earned a Gold Disc from the Japan Record Association. Their first Japanese album, 'WAVE,' topped multiple charts including Oricon Daily and Weekly Album Charts, Tower Records All-Store Comprehensive Album Chart, and Billboard Japan’s Weekly Top Album Sales Chart, showcasing their strong popularity in Japan.
In January, IVE kicked off their world tour, 'SHOW WHAT I HAVE,' in Yokohama, becoming the first Korean artist to perform at K-Arena Yokohama.
They sold out shows at Marine Messe Fukuoka and Osaka Castle Hall, drawing a total of 78,000 fans.
IVE recently made their festival debut at 'Lollapalooza Chicago,' solidifying their global presence. They wrapped up their first world tour’s encore performance at the 'KSPO DOME' in Seoul in August.
Their first world tour will conclude with a grand finale at Tokyo Dome on September 4 and 5. Additionally, IVE's new Japanese mini-album 'ALIVE' is set to drop nationwide in Japan on August 28.
