NewJeans has claimed the top spot in Idol Chart's Acha Rankings for the 5th week of July.

On August 10, it was revealed that NewJeans secured the number one position in the Acha Rankings for the week of July 29 to August 4, with a total score of 13,066 points.

This score included 1,920 points from music, 8,505 points from YouTube, and 2,631 points from social media.

NewJeans was also the only K-pop girl group featured in the "2024 Young Hollywood Impact Report" by U.S. magazine Variety, released on August 7. Variety highlighted that "NewJeans has been on the 'Billboard Global 200' chart for 37 consecutive weeks since their debut, with over 4.3 billion streams," and mentioned their upcoming large-scale world tour in 2025.

Following NewJeans, aespa took second place with 8,820 points, while (G)I-DLE came in third with 5,724 points. Lim Young Woong, QWER, Lee Mu Jin, IVE, KISS OF LIFE, ILY:1, and DAY6 also made the top ten.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network, as of 11 AM on January 15, The Black Nuns is leading the pack with a 16.4% pre-sale rate, having sold 38,391 tickets in advance. This is a strong indicator of the film’s high pre-release anticipation, even with nine days still left before its official opening.

With its unique storyline and gripping visual appeal, The Black Nuns is expected to inject fresh energy into the upcoming theater season. Song Hye Kyo has been actively promoting the film, making appearances on tvN's You Quiz on the Block, the web variety show Jeong Jae Hyung's Fairy Table, and sharing vlog videos on the Davichi Kang Min Kyung channel. All of these efforts are driving the film’s rising pre-sale numbers.
