• "I Can Do It Alone Too" – BTS's Jimin Slays with 'MUSE' Despite Military Service

BTS's Jimin is proving his solo star power with his latest album, MUSE. Even while serving in the military, he’s made waves with impressive records, including back-to-back No. 2 spots on the Billboard 200.

Released on June 19, MUSE is Jimin’s second solo album, following FACE which came out 16 months earlier. While FACE was about self-discovery, MUSE focuses on finding inspiration around oneself.

The title track, "Who," is a hip-hop R&B song about longing and confusion over someone never met, with a strong message about 'true love.'

Jimin’s growth as a musician is clear with this album. Besides "Who," he wrote and composed the other six tracks. He’s expressed a desire to keep evolving as an artist, even if it’s a work in progress.

Jimin’s achievements are impressive. He made history as the first Korean solo artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 with "Like Crazy" from FACE. Now, he’s reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with MUSE. He also hit high spots on charts like 'Top Album Sales' (No. 2) and 'Top Current Album Sales' (No. 2).

"Who" has done well too, reaching No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, topping the 'Global 200' and 'Digital Song Sales' charts, and staying at No. 1 on Spotify’s 'Daily Top Song Global' chart for eight days straight. It also debuted at No. 4 on the UK Official Chart, setting new personal records.

Despite being in the military and having limited activities, Jimin has maintained global attention. He first performed "Who" on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon before his enlistment, and the performance quickly climbed YouTube trending charts.

International media have praised Jimin’s performance. Billboard highlighted his powerful stage presence and detailed choreography, while Consequence of Sound noted his high-energy dance moves and confident vocals.

With his rising popularity, Jimin is set to continue his success with a new track, "Be Mine." His agency announced an English version of the song as a thank you to fans. Even during his military service, Jimin’s unique music keeps him in the spotlight.

Jimin, who has achieved many 'firsts' both as a BTS member and solo artist, looks forward to more growth.

He expressed gratitude for his progress, saying, "It’s so grateful to grow little by little, become okay, and become even cooler." Fans are excited for his future as a solo artist with a distinct style.
