BTS’s Jimin is making waves in the UK with his solo music. His new song "Who" from his second solo album MUSE has topped the UK's Official Big Top 40 chart for two weeks in a row.
The Official Big Top 40 is the biggest radio chart in the UK, based on iTunes sales, Apple Music streams, and radio plays. Jimin is the first K-Pop solo artist to stay at number one for two consecutive weeks on this chart, hitting a major milestone.
Previously, Jimin’s first solo album FACE had its title track "Like Crazy" reach number three, and "Set Me Free Pt.2" hit number four. Now, with "Who" at number one for two weeks, Jimin has placed in the Top 10 four times.
Jimin’s other tracks also performed well: "Closer Than This" at 26, "Angel Pt.1" from the Fast & Furious OST at 28, "Promise" at 29, and "With You" at 32. This shows his strong solo presence with eight songs on the chart.
As of the latest update on July 26, "Who" also reached number four on the UK singles chart and became the first K-Pop solo track to hit the UK Apple Music All-Genre Chart, highlighting Jimin’s impact on the UK music scene.
