• RIIZE Captivates Bangkok with Sold-Out Fan-Con and Successful Fan Signing Event

    The boy group RIIZE made a huge splash in Bangkok, Thailand, over three days, proving their K-pop star power.

    RIIZE held their '2024 RIIZE FAN-CON 'RIIZING DAY' in BANGKOK' at the Thunder Dome on July 27th and 28th. Both days were sold out, with around 10,000 fans cheering them on.

    The fan-con featured a variety of performances and activities, including hits like 'Boom Boom Bass,' 'Love 119,' 'Talk Saxy,' and 'Get A Guitar,' as well as fun games and talks. Local media took notice, with 50 outlets covering the event, including Ch7HD, Ch9, Thairath TV, Daily News, KhaoSod, L'Officiel Hommes Thailand, and Sanook.

    The members of RIIZE shared their excitement, saying, "When we first came to Thailand last year for 'Get A Guitar,' we dreamed of holding a concert here with many fans. We’re thrilled to make great memories with our fans, Breeze, and we’re so grateful for the warm welcome."

    Before the fan-con, on July 26th, RIIZE visited a pop-up store at Emsphere shopping mall in Bangkok to celebrate the release of their first mini-album 'RIIZING.' They also held a fan signing event at the mall, creating special moments with local fans.

    The pop-up store was a hit, with long lines and around 1,000 visitors daily since its opening on July 24th, leading to sold-out items. The store will stay open until August 4th.

    After their Bangkok fan-con, RIIZE will head to Japan for their '2024 RIIZE FAN-CON 'RIIZING DAY' JAPAN HALL TOUR,' starting on July 30th with 15 shows in nine cities. They will continue their tour with a stop in Jakarta, Indonesia on August 31st.

  • Former Crayon Pop's ChoA Opens Up About Her Struggle with Cervical Cancer: 'I Dream of the Day I Can Have a Drink with My Husband Again'"

    ChoA, former member of the girl group Crayon Pop, has bravely shared her ongoing battle with cervical cancer and her emotional journey.

    On January 28, ChoA posted a heartfelt update on her social media, explaining her struggles. "I usually laugh, talk, and live my life as usual, but there are moments when I suddenly face a reality that isn’t like before, and it gets tough," she shared.

    She went on to say, "Recently, something difficult happened, and in the past, I would have had a drink with my husband to shake it off. I really miss being able to do that."

    ChoA admitted that she still can’t fully believe her diagnosis. "When I face the reality I’ve been avoiding, my heart that I’ve built up breaks down," she said. "But the life I’m living now, which I’m still enjoying, is something that someone else might be wishing for. I try to gather my thoughts again with gratitude."

    She also expressed hope for the future, saying, "Lately, I dream of a day five years from now when I’ll be declared cancer-free and be able to have a drink with my husband after putting the kids to bed, after all the struggles. It’s been almost two years, so I believe the day I get that clean bill of health will come soon."

    ChoA married a businessman in 2021, six years older than her. In October 2023, she revealed her cervical cancer diagnosis, sharing that she had been diagnosed during a routine check-up in her first year of marriage.

    Despite everything, ChoA remains hopeful, noting that the cancer was smaller than expected during surgery, and she was able to preserve her fertility—a step closer to her dream of becoming a mother.
