Min Hee Jin, CEO of ADOR, has denied accusations that she covered up a sexual harassment case at the company.
On July 29, her legal team from Sejong Law Firm released a statement rejecting these claims. They said, “The sexual harassment case was already closed with no charges by the HYBE Human Resources Committee as of March 16. It’s hard to understand why there are new questions about HYBE’s decision. Attacking Min Hee Jin now is unfair.”
They added, “The meeting involving the employee was held on February 1 to review the work situation after Min Hee Jin took office. The employee agreed to attend, and the meeting went smoothly.”
They also said, “Min Hee Jin listened to both sides and tried to mediate the conflict. She worked hard to prevent future issues by making HR procedures more transparent and suggesting improvements to HYBE.”
The statement continued, “Using private conversations in reports is just an attack on individuals and isn’t related to the main issue. Publicly sharing private conversations is illegal. The issue was settled between the two employees, and reopening the case could harm them again.”
Earlier, Dispatch reported on July 25 that messages between Min Hee Jin and various people, including shamans and company executives, were leaked. The report revealed that in March, an ADOR employee accused a male executive of sexual harassment. The employee left the company, and the executive received a warning.
The messages showed Min Hee Jin seemingly supporting the executive and encouraging counterclaims, leading to allegations of a cover-up. Min Hee Jin’s team has strongly denied these allegations.
