• BIGBANG's Daesung says YG and KBS issues were about choices, not conflicts

BIGBANG's Daesung clears the air about the rumored conflicts between YG Entertainment and KBS.

On July 26th, Daesung's YouTube channel 'ZIP Daesung' featured a video titled "18-Year Veteran Daesung Bows Down to WINNER," with guests WINNER’s Kim Jin Woo and Lee Seung Hoon.

Daesung asked about WINNER members Song Min Ho and Kang Seung Yoon, who are currently in the military. They said, "We see them more now than when we first enlisted. We meet for meals and chats whenever they are on leave."

Kim Jin Woo shared an update on Kang Seung Yoon, saying, "Seung Yoon seems to get leave a lot. He's doing very well in the military, so he must be earning a lot of rewards. He probably uses his leaves right away."

Daesung asked if Seung Yoon plans activities during his leaves. The duo replied, "All the members are thinking about a full comeback."

Daesung talked about the importance of Seung Hoon's current album, saying it could help their future activities. He also said he plans to support Seung Hoon at music shows.

The production team joked that Daesung would be the oldest person at the shows, making Kim Jin Woo laugh and say, "Everyone will come to greet you." Seung Hoon teased, "How uncomfortable would you be?" Daesung, surprised, agreed.

When asked about YG artists' past absence from KBS shows and the rumored conflicts, Daesung seemed genuinely surprised. Seung Hoon joked that Daesung's face might signal bad relations with KBS, to which Daesung joked about imitating singer K.Will.

Daesung asked if WINNER had also avoided KBS. Seung Hoon said, "We followed the seniors. We wanted to appear, but couldn’t. I wanted to be on the photo line for the morning arrivals."

Daesung replied, "You should just go," but Seung Hoon pointed out, "We need to be invited. We haven't been to KBS much during our promotions."

Daesung clarified, "It wasn't about bad relations with anyone. It was about making choices and focusing our efforts at the time. Naturally, some may have felt neglected."
