  • Jo Hyun Ah caught the bouquet but no one noticed as everyone was too busy talking about Hyomin’s husband

T-ara’s Hyomin’s beautiful wedding has been the talk of the town—but one special moment almost got completely missed.

On April 7, Hyomin held a private wedding ceremony at the luxurious Shilla Hotel in Seoul. The star-studded guest list, live performances, and her jaw-dropping “only two in Korea” wedding dress made headlines everywhere. But what quietly happened during the bouquet toss is now gaining quiet attention.

In the videos shared on April 10 through YouTube and social media, fans saw singer Jo Hyun Ah of Urban Zakapa catch the bouquet with a huge, happy smile. With both hands in the air and a loud shout of joy, she caught the flowers like she had been waiting for that exact moment.

Traditionally, catching the bouquet hints at who might be the next to get married—and Jo Hyun Ah’s excited reaction seemed to fit that perfectly. But the internet had other ideas.

Instead of talking about Jo Hyun Ah’s sweet moment, most netizens were focused on something else: the clear reveal of Hyomin’s groom’s face. On online communities and SNS, keywords like “groom in a black tuxedo,” “Hyomin’s husband finally revealed,” and “wedding dress worth a fortune” pushed Jo Hyun Ah’s moment out of the spotlight.

Even though Jo Hyun Ah had two big roles at the ceremony—giving a touching congratulatory speech and catching the bouquet—she was barely mentioned in news coverage.

The wedding itself looked like a red carpet event, with A-list guests like Ko So Young, Lee Dong Wook, Shin Ha Kyun, Yoon Jong Shin, Yoo Se Yoon, and Poong Ja showing up in style.

For the first part of the wedding, Hyomin wore a rare wedding gown that’s said to exist only twice in Korea. For the second part, she changed into a simple and elegant dress. Gummy and Im Si Wan performed beautiful congratulatory songs, Jo Se Ho hosted the event, and Jo Hyun Ah gave a heartfelt speech—making the entire day feel like a scene from a romantic movie.

Still, the unexpected “scene-stealer” turned out to be the groom’s face reveal. Even though it was Jo Hyun Ah who caught the bouquet, people were more surprised to finally see who Hyomin was marrying.

But behind all the glamor and headlines, Jo Hyun Ah’s genuine smile while catching the bouquet remained a quiet and touching moment that some fans are now calling the real hidden highlight of the day.
