SHINee's Onew has successfully finished his solo fan meeting tour across Asia.
On July 21, Onew held his solo fan meeting '2024 ONEW FANMEETING 'GUESS!'' in Singapore, meeting with his local fans. This tour, named 'GUESS!', took place in seven different regions in Asia. Onew shared an exciting future with his fans during these events.
The fan meeting started with 'O (Circle)', the title track from his first full album 'Circle.' Onew planned various segments that showed his past, present, and future, making his fans very happy.
These included 'GUESS ONEW'S STYLE,' where fans guessed their favorite hairstyle of Onew’s, 'I'M A PAINTER,' where Onew drew famous spots from each region, and 'GUESS ABOUT ONEW,' a fun group game with fans. Onew even did a dance challenge for aespa's 'Armageddon,' getting a big reaction from the crowd.
Onew also performed Harry Styles' 'As It Was,' SHINee's 'Love Like Oxygen' (covering all five members' parts), and his new song 'Monday to Sunday,' which fans sang along to in Korean. These performances were picked based on fans' requests, showing how much he cares for them.
He also shared his plans for future solo activities, including performances at the 'Waterbomb' festival in Osaka on August 10, Nagoya on August 17, and Suwon on August 24, exciting his fans even more.
Reflecting on his tour, Onew said, "From May to July, I met many 'Chingus' (fan club name) in different regions. It was wonderful to see your shining eyes up close. Thank you for always giving me happy memories. This tour has turned my worries and anxieties into trust and confidence. I will continue on my path as Onew for the fans who always support me. I will release a new album in September. Please look forward to and support the new songs and new me."
Onew released his surprise single 'Monday to Sunday' on July 15. This upbeat jazz R&B pop song, which he wrote the lyrics for, showed a different side of him.
Onew is set to make a comeback in September with his third mini-album 'FLOW,' aiming to make this fall 'Onew's season,' as the album title suggests.
