Actress Han Sun Hwa opened up about the efforts she made to create chemistry with Jo Jung Suk in the movie 'Pilot.'
On July 22, an episode of 'Jjanhyung' featured the cast of 'Pilot,' including Jo Jung Suk, Lee Joo Myung, Han Sun Hwa, and Shin Seung Ho.
Talking about the first day of filming 'Pilot,' Han Sun Hwa said, "I was filming with senior Jo Jung Suk in a confined space, and I felt disheartened."
She explained, "We needed to show a back-and-forth dynamic in a narrow space, but I couldn't come up with any ideas. When I looked at the monitor, I hated seeing myself awkwardly trying to fit in the shot," expressing her discomfort with the two-shot setup.
Han Sun Hwa added, "I have a personality that can't hide things and am proactive, so I asked, 'Oppa, don't I seem weird?' It was our first shoot, and it was hard to tell a senior that. But he gave me a solution. He provided an idea that made the two-shot very interesting," showing her gratitude.
Han Sun Hwa concluded, "The positive stimulus on the first shoot led me to buy a mood lamp for the car the next day. From then on, I skipped dinner and late-night snacks to focus on the script and create good chemistry. I resolved that awkwardness moment by moment."
