BTS Suga Hits 4 Billion Streams on Spotify, First Asian Rapper to Reach Milestone
BTS member Suga has made history on Spotify, surpassing 4 billion total streams. He's now the highest-streamed Asian rapper ever.
On July 14th, Spotify confirmed that Suga achieved this milestone. It includes his solo work as Agust D and SUGA, along with tracks from BTS albums where he's featured.
Earlier, by August 2023, Suga had already hit 3 billion streams, making his total now over 10 billion in less than a year.
Notably, Suga's solo credits alone contributed 3.5 billion streams, excluding BTS tracks. This solidifies his status as the first Asian rapper to achieve such numbers with just three solo albums and tracks he's produced.
His independent production "Haegeum" recently crossed 300 million streams this month. Additionally, tracks like "Haegeum" and "That That," featuring Suga from 2022, ranked high on the Circle Chart's mid-year rankings, showcasing his ongoing success and global appeal.
