• BLACKPINK's Lisa Faces Plagiarism Claims Over Travis Scott MV, Director Speaks Out

Lisa from BLACKPINK is facing controversy over allegations of plagiarism in her latest solo music video.

On July 6th, director Gabrielo Moses took to social media claiming, "They approached my editor to work on this, mentioning Travis Scott's 'FE!N' as reference. He declined, but they went ahead anyway. Have a good day." Gabrielo Moses directed Travis Scott's music video for "FE!N (Feat. Playboi Carti)," part of his album 'UTOPIA' released last July.

Gabrielo Moses also shared a post from a netizen comparing scenes from both videos, sparking further debate. Reports suggest Lisa's team has been asked to respond to these allegations by the end of the month.

"ROCKSTAR," Lisa's latest solo single released on June 28th, has not yet received an official statement from her agency regarding these accusations.

Lisa parted ways with YG Entertainment last year to focus on her solo career under her own agency, LLOUD, and signed with RCA Records, a Sony Music subsidiary.

Despite the controversy, "ROCKSTAR" has achieved significant success. It reached 8th place on the global Spotify chart and dominated in Lisa's home country, Thailand, with over 2.57 million streams, setting a new record for daily streaming.

The music video for "ROCKSTAR" also gained traction globally, trending at number one on YouTube Music Video Trending charts in multiple countries including Australia, UK, France, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Korea, Turkey, Mexico, and the UK.
