• Red Velvet's Seulgi cleared up allegations regarding an incident involving her manager at the airport

Red Velvet member Seulgi has spoken out about an incident involving her manager at the airport.

On July 13, Seulgi took to social media to explain, "I want to apologize to my manager and everyone disappointed by what happened at the airport yesterday."

Seulgi, heading to Kaohsiung, Taiwan for the 'K-MEGA CONCERT IN KAOHSIUNG' on July 12th from Incheon Airport, initially wore a black sheer top, boot-cut jeans, and sky-blue high heels. Later, away from the press, she changed into sneakers provided by staff inside the airport.

Photos of her manager struggling with luggage and uncomfortable in high heels sparked online criticism, alleging mistreatment.

Addressing this, Seulgi clarified, "I recently got blisters and foot injuries from practice. The heels I wore weren't too high, so I didn't bring spare sneakers, which was my mistake."

She added, "As I walked, my feet hurt more. Even in Kaohsiung, seeing my discomfort, my manager suggested changing shoes just to exit the airport and avoid worsening my condition for the performance."

Seulgi apologized to disappointed fans and her manager, acknowledging, "I'm sorry for not making the right call under painful circumstances. I apologize to my manager for any trouble caused."

She personally apologized to her manager and pledged to be more cautious in the future to prevent similar incidents.
