Voice Actress Seo Yuri Spills on Her Dating Life and Ideal Type,  “I Hate Ugly People”

Voice actress Seo Yuri recently opened up about her dating experiences and ideal type, causing quite a buzz among her fans. On July 7, she shared on her social media, “A self-introduction that everyone does.”

When asked about her dating history, Seo Yuri candidly replied, “Never dated.” As for her ideal type, she revealed, “A handsome person with good sense.” She didn’t hold back about her dislikes either, saying she’s turned off by “an unattractive person who is also not smart.”

Previously, Seo Yuri had expressed her feelings of exhaustion, which worried her fans. She reassured them with, “Don’t worry. I will live well.” She added, “I will develop a good eye for people, keep good people around me, enjoy small happiness, and do what I want to do, no matter what anyone says.” She also said, “I don’t know what it means to live well, but if I feel good and comfortable, that’s living well.”

Recently, Seo Yuri has been in the spotlight for revealing details about her divorce from ex-husband PD Choi Byung-gil. Her intriguing and heartfelt posts have caught the attention of many.

On the same day, Choi Byung-gil posted on his SNS, “The heavens know everything, so there is no need for me to shout to the world. I am grateful for the guidance and will be guided.”

Seo Yuri started her career in 2008 as a first-generation voice actress at Daewon Broadcasting, voicing characters in popular animations like ‘Fullmetal Alchemist’, ‘Doraemon’, and ‘Dragon Ball’. She’s also lent her voice to games such as ‘Dungeon & Fighter’ and ‘Sudden Attack’, and appeared on MBC’s variety show ‘My Little Television’.

Choi Byung-gil, on the other hand, has directed hit dramas like ‘Hotel King’ (2014), ‘Angry Mom’ (2015), and ‘Missing Nine’ (2017) while at MBC. He left MBC in 2019 and recently directed the film ‘Tarot’, which was released on June 14 by LG Uplus STUDIO X+U.

Seo Yuri and PD Choi Byung-gil got married in 2019 but announced their divorce in March this year, ending their five-year marriage.
