BTS’ Jimin Tops iTunes Top Song Charts Worldwide with New Song in 108 Countries and Regions

BTS member Jimin has made waves on the global iTunes charts with his latest solo comeback.

According to Big Hit Music on June 29th, Jimin‘s new song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band,” released the previous day at 1 PM, claimed the top spot on iTunes’ ‘Top Song’ charts in 108 countries and regions by 7 AM the following day.

His song also topped the ‘Worldwide iTunes Song’ and ‘European iTunes Song’ charts upon release.

“Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” blends big band sounds with hip-hop elements, creating a vibrant and energetic vibe. Jimin’s refreshing vocals complement rapper Loco’s smooth rap, who featured on the track.

The music video released alongside the song has also garnered significant attention. Featuring Jimin and Loco in a fairy-tale-like setting, the video quickly trended on YouTube’s ‘Trending Music’ list, surpassing 5.2 million views by 9 AM the same day.

“Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” serves as the pre-release track for Jimin‘s upcoming solo album ‘MUSE,’ which includes a total of 7 songs and is scheduled for release on July 19th.
