ATEEZ, the global superstar group from Korea, is teaming up with Japan's BE:FIRST for their upcoming single 'Hush-Hush,' set to release on July 1st.
BE:FIRST, a seven-member group formed through the survival show 'THE FIRST' in 2021, gained attention in Japan even before their debut by topping various charts. Their live performance film 'BE:FIRST The Movie' was a hit in Japan and screened in CGV ScreenX theaters in Korea in October 2023.
Under the management of BMSG, founded by AAA's main rapper Sky-Hi, BE:FIRST continues to make waves in the Japanese music scene.
Teaser images released with the collaboration announcement feature ATEEZ and BE:FIRST in contrasting red and blue-themed fashion styles. The teaser video for 'Hush-Hush' poetically portrays ATEEZ and BE:FIRST as the moon and sun, symbolizing a total eclipse as they overlap.
ATEEZ recently achieved top rankings on Japan's Oricon charts with their mini-album 'Golden Hour: Part 1,' demonstrating their strong influence in Japan. They topped Billboard Japan's Top Album Sales and Hot Albums charts, showcasing their popularity across the country.
ATEEZ is scheduled to perform at NTV's 'BEAT AX Vol.4' at Makuhari Messe in Japan on June 29th and will appear on 'Show! Music Core in JAPAN' on June 30th, further solidifying their presence in the Japanese music scene.
