  • Cha Eun Woo Gets Red in the Face After Awkward Moment with Kwak Dong Yeon Asking for the Food Bill: "Just Eat!"

Actor and ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo found himself in an embarrassing situation during a meal on tvN's Finland Setbang Living (Episode 4), when fellow actor Kwak Dong Yeon asked the restaurant staff about the bill, despite knowing it was a little awkward.

On the December 27th episode, Cha Eun Woo, Kwak Dong Yeon, Lee Je Hoon, and Lee Dong Hwi went out to eat at a restaurant reserved by their host, Alexi. The group was in high spirits as they entered the restaurant, but the mood shifted a bit when they realized their meal was a set course, and they began to worry about how much it would cost.

Kwak Dong Yeon, recalling Finnish customs where offering to treat someone usually means "I'll pay," started to feel uneasy. In a slightly uncomfortable moment, he asked the restaurant owner, “I’m not sure if this is the right thing to do, but Alexi made the reservation for us. Our money is limited, so could you tell us how much the food we ate costs?”

As soon as Kwak Dong Yeon spoke, Cha Eun Woo’s face turned bright red with embarrassment. He awkwardly mumbled, “No, just eat…” and nervously laughed, clearly flustered by the situation. Lee Dong Hwi, noticing the tension, cheered Kwak Dong Yeon on, saying, “It’s tough, but you’re doing well,” while watching the scene unfold.

Luckily, the restaurant owner assured them, saying, “It’s fine. Alexi has already paid.” Lee Je Hoon couldn’t help but happily shout, “Dong Yeon was right!” Meanwhile, Cha Eun Woo, relieved, confessed, “I think my face turned red,” with a shy smile. Lee Dong Hwi chuckled and said, “Eun Woo is really embarrassed,” as he watched Cha Eun Woo’s flushed cheeks.

It was a sweet yet funny moment that showed the cast’s bond and Cha Eun Woo’s adorably shy side!
